Child, Youth and Family’s “Child and Youth Prosecution Statistics” tables give statistics on the make-up of young people appearing in the Youth Court and the outcomes they received. Statistics New Zealand also produces a report summarising key trends in the Youth Court. The most recent report is entitled “Trends for Children and Youth in the New Zealand Justice System, 2002-2011”, which is attached here and available on the linked page.
